Preschool Music Class
For ages 4 & 5.
This class was originally created to offer a play group where the children could explore a musical environment and have fun, while also reinforcing academic skills (numbers, colors, letters, shapes, patterns, etc.), improving social skills (sharing toys/instruments, turn taking, cooperation with a peer, etc.), and practicing skills needed in school (direction following, staying seated for certain activities, etc.). In this class, the students will get the chance to play a wide variety of musical instruments, participate in dancing and movement activities, and play musical games involving puzzles, books, and other props.
Classes are limited to 6 students per class. Class meets once/week through the school year (September-June). This class is held on Saturdays from 12:00-12:45pm.
