Courtney Pugh's Bio
I am a board-certified music therapist. I have completed four years of coursework from the Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music towards a bachelor's degree in Music Therapy and a 9 month internship with Community Action Wayne/Medina county head starts, working with children ages 3-5.
At Baldwin-Wallace, I was able to study piano with Dr. Carla McElhaney, Mary Dobrea-Grindahl, Mitsuko Morikawa, and Dr. Robert Mayerovitch. During my college career, I have had the chance to work with many different ages and populations as part of my music therapy work, including teaching piano lessons to children with special needs.
I grew up in East Canton, Ohio, and I have been playing piano since the third grade. I enjoy being outdoors and doing photography and graphic design work in free time.
